Tribesports User of the Week: Brad N

Brad NWhich Tribesports Challenge has been your toughest and which are you most proud of?

I think last years breaking 2 hours for the half marathon would rank up there for me and it was probably the time that I have got the most out of Tribesports as well. The site as a whole and individual members were all a part of the PB setting process! Making that public declaration on the challenge and then getting support, advice and general positive vibes from members certainly pushed me through what had b...

Jarod CWhich Tribesports Challenge has been your toughest and which are you most proud of?

The toughest challenge I’ve done would have to be the Insanity program.  This program broke me down and showed me what I was really made of.  I had done other programs such as P90X and P90X2 and they were tough but Insanity brought me to the breaking point.  The cardio intervals really helped me with my mental toughness, which brings me into the challenge I’m most proud of - complete my first triathlon.  Thi...

London Marathon SmithyWhich Tribesports Challenge has been your toughest and which are you most proud of?

Tribesports is full of great Challenges and one of the toughest for me was run a marathon under 4 hours. I’m not really a natural runner and have only run 1 marathon (London) and due to a knee injury, I had to defer my place for 12 months. This meant over 18 months of training. However, completing it in 3hours 45mins made it even more of an achievement. It also inspired me to take up Triathlon again after a...

Brenda D profileFirst of all I'm thrilled to be the Christmas user of the week 2013 and I want to thank TS for nominating me. It has definitely made my Christmas.

Which Tribesports Challenge has been the toughest?

My 1st Aquathon was really tough. I wasn't used to swimming in open choppy waters. I felt an overwhelming desire to quit and retire to the comfort of the safety boat, but the thoughts of all those hours of training being wasted by quitting at the first hurdle spurred me on (along with my stubbo...

Tribesports User of the Week: Terri L

Terri L profile pictureWhich has been your toughest Tribesports Challenge and which are you most proud of?

By far, the toughest Challenge I have completed has been the run for a streak of 14 days. Up until that Challenge I was your average runner, running 2-4 times a week. I had never done back-to-back days, at least not if I could have helped it! I loved the challenge so much that I have moved on to the run EVERY day for a month.

Another difficult Challenge for me was the 1000 push-ups in 5 days. After the fi...
