30 push ups in one set is a decent level of fitness to achieve if you are doing them all properly.
Build up to thirty by breaking your push up sets down into 3 sets of ten, with shorter and shorter breaks, followed by 2 sets of 15, before eventually going for all thirty push ups in one go.

Greg K I haven't done pushups in at least a week, was a little discouraged with my progress. Decided today I needed to get started again. Popped out 30 on the spot. Ya me!
