The wall squat is a great exercise to strengthen the legs and buttocks and is often used as training for skiers and power-lifters. This is a brilliant exercise to do on the go, few spare minutes in a lift or when watching TV, especially if you fancy a stretch out during the ad breaks.
Put your quadriceps strength/ endurance to the test and hold a static (isometric) squat against a wall for 5 minutes. To perform a wall squat you need to slide down the wall and ‘sit’ with your knees bent at a 90 degree angle.
5 minute wall squat Challenge rules
“First two minutes were the worst to hold after that was not to bad. Done that many times before, even more than 5 min and it's not getting easier lol good luck!!!”
