Jonathan B #bflandsendrun Just finished my 8 mile leg into Yeovil town (bloody hills). Up hill all ok, but down hill killing the knees. Taking over the reigns on the bike for @darinad in the next leg. Not too excited about the thought. Fund raising seems to have slowed a little. Please keep up your generous support! Much appreciated!

Jonathan B #bfLandsendrun Day 2 is now underway, with @silverfox kicking off the first leg in the dark at 6:30am. The afternoon team have earnt their right to a lay-in, and will be joining the guys in vehicle one around lunchtime. Good luck to all the morning runners! Thinking this will probably be one of the hardest days in the challenge as the end still seems pretty far away. If you haven't sponsored us yet, and would like to, please get onto our just giving page! Thanks, Jon

I think recovery shakes is right although I've never tried them before. I generally use lucozade sport during and after a run

what about good old I spy? I-phone. I must admit this is a worry; how to avoid boredom when not running/cycling. I'd say drinking, but....

Hugh F No running since the 2 half marathons last weekend. My feet felt a bit bruised and so I'm letting them recover. Not long to go now so I don't want any last minute injuries

Well done, I consider myself to have had a really good game if I manage to score in double figures ... Not my forte!
I love bowling! I have to play regularly to reach a nice score but I think I'm still quite decent, which helps... if I haven't played for a long time I can just touch 100 :P It helps to have good friends who can fix your mistakes while playing :)

Tried some off-the-peg orthotix in my shoes tonight, to see if it improved the knee and ankle pain. Still there a bit, so hard to tell if there has been any impact. Off for a proper Gate Review and iStep analysis @ the Potomac River Running shop in the US on Friday evening - hopefully a customised pair of runners will fix it.

I can recommend Sorbothane double strike gel insoles. I use them a lot and will be getting new ones before the 23rd

Why not ask for some advice from other Challenge takers, or read some of the Challenge guides first?
