Brandon G How have you been doing @stevieglesga? Are you Coke free, or do we need to try a new tactic? LOL!

Great job Stephen! I'm going on 2 months now without caffeine! Keep it up and enjoy a healthier you!

Now at 18 days. and well done Brandon, although caffeine isn't what I'm trying to kick but my aspartame consumption.
I seem to recall that from some point. Either way, I figure if I'm giving up caffeine, I'm giving up cola. Not much longer to go for you! You're over halfway there!

Stephen M 10 days and counting.

Stephen M Guess who hasn't had a diet coke in EIGHT days?

That's awesome.

Brandon G Hey Stephen! I am as addicted as you. So, I'll race you. I'll give up the Diet Coke (I hope) while you do! Whoever does it for 1 month first (and beyond) wins! I'm going to start by drinking decaf coffee and switching to caffine free diet coke - after I finish my green tea challenge - so you could theoretically have a 3 day head start!!!

Wow Lisa. That really puts things into perspective (as I consume a diet Coke). Time to start setting even my occasional indulgence aside.

Ok Brandon. half Marathon is complete and Die(t) Hard done so hopefully make a start this week. And shamefully I KNOW all about the crap that's in diet sodas. That's what makes my consumption even worse.

well, I just read this while putting away my green tea. I'm boiling up some herbal black currant tea right now. The coffee here at work is terrible anyway! Good luck - today is day 1 for me!
Samarth A You can do it. Lower the amount gradually!

Stephen M I have the Great Scottish Run on Sunday and don't want to suffer from withdrawal prior to that, so keep the pressure coming and once I finish my twenty bottles in storage.......

Emily S You said we can "convince, urge or bribe" you. How about a challenge? I can't do pushups. Never could. Bad wrists and poor upper body strength; I don't ever do "girlie" pushups. Sooo, I challenge you to try to beat me to the finish line... will you give up Diet Coke before I'm able to do ten pushups without stopping? You have to have been off Diet Coke for four weeks to successfully be complete. I have to have done ten pushups a day for five days. What do you say?
good luck guys & gals
Emily S My ex used to drink gallons of diet Coke too. Until the day I hung the white bedsheets out on the washing line. There was a huge stain, the same size as him, on his side of the sheets. It was from all the caffeine and aspartame seeping out of his pores at night. If that's what the residue can do to a set of sheets, imagine what it's doing to your insides.

Why not ask for some advice from other Challenge takers, or read some of the Challenge guides first?
OK, I'll keep working at it!Loading
Well done !!!
