Great walk to the top of the highest peak in the British Isles-1,344 metres (4,408 ft). There is a great view if you are luck enough to get some clear skies! Suitable for most.The Novice Walker should not attempt walk between November and May, or during badweather. The normal time taken to climb to the top by the tourist path is 3 to 5 hours - coming down between 1 to 2 hours.

Vikki F i am climbing ben nevis by torch light in June and as i live in the south east it is very flat so all my training will be on a treadmill. can anyone advise me on how steep i should have he incline set to in order to prepare myself for this??
any training tips would be most appreciated.x

Arnaud L I climbed Ben Nevis this week-end, really nice walk. Nice to get at the top of the highest mountain in UK. Easy walk, which seemed to be fine for kids too - A lot of families there. It takes between 4 and 6 hours by the mountain track. I'll add useful information soon.
