This Hiking challenge can be done in July or August. These are the only months it is not covered in snow. Mt. Fuji is 12,389 ft to the top. Some people suffer from altitude sickness so take some oxygen bottles with you. I know people who have hiked up and snowboarded or mountain biked down. Just get to the top. Also hiking at night comes with the reward of watching the sunrise from 12,389 ft.

“Did this in 2001 and we climbed at night to watch the sun rise in the morning. You have to do this before you die.”
