We all know there are easily acheivable physical challenges on TS. Those are great but this challenge is for those who really want to set the bar and achieve something for themselves they either never thought possible OR have always wanted to do but never taken the plunge.
It could be a marathon, weight loss, fitness comp.
Pick a personal goal.challenge that will take at least 2 months to complete
CREATE A REAL GOAL/CHALLENGE AND ACHEIVE IT Challenge rules
- Pick a goal/challenge that will take at least 2 months to complete
- Record the start date
- Take before and after photos to prove your results (date them)
- Once complete post the challenge, results and before and after pics to prove your efforts and inspire and motivate others.
- THIS MUST BE A NEW GOAL! NOT SOMETHING YOU'VE ALREADY COMPLETED IN THE PAST!
- Not all types of physical activity are suitable for everyone. Users take Challenges and training advice at their own personal risk.
“Mine was a set of Yates rows with 100% of bodyweight. When I was a little heavier it was impossible for me to do more than about 85%. But now I've lost weight, kept my strength (just about) and achieved it. Sorry, wasn't able to use my camera in the gym :-(”

Jeremy O Hi Peggy, You can log your miles in the "Post training data" section by selecting running, no of kms & time. I log mine by uploading the data from my Garmin GPS watch to show the map as well but you can also upload some data from other devices using the "Upload GPX or KML" button on the "Post training data" tab. I'm not sure if this works with iPhone data but worth a try if you use Runkeeper App.
Michelle B Well, I did it. Rocked my first fitness comp. See my profile for the complete before and after album. Here is a fave pic of mine from Saturday

Took it easy due to various issues with feet and legs. I'm determined to see this through.
Rick P encouraged this.
Helen T I really want to complete 5 pull up / chin ups ...whichever comes first. At the moment it's a no can do...I will work on it and achieve it
Erin S My goal is training for my first half marathon to be completed on 29 September!! 10 weeks to go! WOOT!!
Paul T encouraged this.
Michelle B This really is supposed to be for a recent challenge you've created not one you have done in the past or are almost complete :)
Hope this is helpful for everyone.
Let's share our goals and keep each other motivated.
PS Try to keep it a new challenge well out of your comfort zone. After all this is a "challenge" lol
Grant M Can it be a goal I set up early this year? I hope to cross it today that is all. I have to beat the 2 hour mark for 20km marathon kayak racing.
Time at start of year was 2 hours 21 minutes
Last race time 2 hours 4 minutes.
New ski, lots of training and hopefully a sub 2 hour time is on the cards today.
Michelle B I've signed up for my first ever fitness comp. Excited to complete this challenge in October and post my pics!
Why not ask for some advice from other Challenge takers, or read some of the Challenge guides first?OK, I'll keep working at it!
