August is just around the corner, Tribe! It's time to flaunt our midriffs for at least 3 workouts of 30 minutes or more/session in the month of August. NOTE: click-a-holics, don't click COMPLETE until 3 shirtless workouts in August if you take this challenge! Take off that T-shirt and feel the breeze. Don't forget sunblock and your cover-up after your workout--wouldn't want to burn or chill out!
Dare to Bare in August Challenge rules
- Peel off that T-shirt for at least 30 minutes while working out at least 3 times in PUBLIC during the month of August (that's a minimum of 3 daring barings)...c'mon, you've worked hard on those abs and back muscles!
- Comply with your local public decency/gym dress code requirements--not always culturally appropriate, so be respectful.
- Any public workout counts--running, riding, gym, gardening, beach volleyball, water sports--but use your sunblock and bring a cover-up in case you get chilly or still have some shreds of ego left to deal with after 30 minutes ;)
- Not all types of physical activity are suitable for everyone. Users take Challenges and training advice at their own personal risk.

Meghan L OK, I found a great way to get attentive customer service next time you go shopping! Are you tired of the sales clerks acting like you're invisible when you need help? Try this!
Recently I went to the supermarket after yoga. When I left the house I was wearing running shorts, a sport bra top, & a hoodie, with my flip-flops in my tote along with my mat. When I got to the grocery store it was really warm outside & I was still warm from yoga, so I left my hoodie & flip-flops in the car. Grocery shopping barefoot with a bare midriff was quite the attention-getter. There must've been at least a dozen store clerks asking me if they could help me find anything! I was also more than a little surprised that no one told me that I couldn't be in the store without shoes, though.
Yes, I realize that in the near future when it gets sub-freezing here I'll need to try a different angle.

Meghan L To do this challenge I ran & worked out in shorts, yoga pants, leggings, etc., with a sports bra top, & I went swimming in my bikini.
Concurrent with this challenge I did some yoga pose challenges, some barefoot running challenges, & and the Do A Handstand In Water challenge.
You're right! It was fun! Hope you all enjoyed this one as much as I did!
Meghan L We went to Devil's Lake on Sunday. I wore my bikini when we went swimming, & we had some underwater handstand contests. So a point for this one & an encore for the Do A Handstand In Water challenge.
Meghan L Did my yoga in running shorts & a sports bra, so I got in some pose challenges while working on this one.
Why not ask for some advice from other Challenge takers, or read some of the Challenge guides first?OK, I'll keep working at it!
