Andrew Murray works as the Scottish Government Physical Activity Champion. To quote: "Getting active, and staying active is the single best thing you can do for your health.”
Best still there are a million and one ways to get some exercise, be it running, walking, dancing, gardening, camel racing, as well as football, tennis, hockey, cricket – the list goes on! Take this challenge, tell your friends and family about it, and get them to do it as well.
This Challenge is a lifestyle pledge – are you committed to say that you’re active and where possible will do 30 minutes of exercise every day – be it a lot or a little – it doesn’t matter

- This will massively benefit your health, and can do the same for others, so tell them
- Log your details to encourage each other to get this done
- You are allowed some days off - illness, when life gets in the way - but not too many!
- Not all types of physical activity are suitable for everyone. Users take Challenges and training advice at their own personal risk.
