Do one good deed today, for someone you don't know and/or never met.
Exercising is all about feeling good, and after helping someone out drastically today, I felt that doing a good deed for someone else, however small or significant, can make a difference.
And after doing that good deed, be proud of yourself and treat yourself :)

“I did a good deed today & put a smile on Carolyn's face from work. It was really hot & she was working very hard, she mentioned that she could use a drink. So I dug into my pocket grab .50 cents & bought her a bottle of water & brought it back to her. She was so thankful and appreciative that it made me feel good to do something nice. ”

Victoria C Had a school group come and visit the museum where I volunteer today and it was sooooo cold, I made the teachers teas and coffees to warm up (the kids were running around and never noticed the cold...lol). Not only did they all say they enjoyed the drink, they enjoyed the heat thawing their hands too lol :-)

Claire Boo L An old man in the village always goes for a walk at tea time every night. Tonight as I drove through he had a few shopping bags and was struggling to manage them and keep himself stable with his stick. I turned back, jumped out of my car and offered him a lift home. I helped him in his house, unpacked his shopping and made him a cup of tea.
It felt really nice to help him, I walked away with a warm fuzzy feeling.

Teresa H I was at the store and there was only one lane open. A couple of ladies got in line behind me and then started complaining. Another cashier opened up just then and they went for the lane even though I was the next in line. The guy in front of me had a huge cart full and the two ladies only had a couple items a piece so I followed them. They stopped halfway there and one started debating on whether to get one of her items or not and I walked past. They behaved as if I were about to grab the last donut...so I asked "did you ladies want to go first" ...and they walked right by without saying thank you or even looking me in the eye. All I heard was "Yes!" I may have found them to be rude and unappreciative, but I still always feel good when I do a good deed and this was no different.
don't let them bother you. you're a great person. :)

Claire Boo L Does not punching someone who scratched and dented my car in the gym car park count ??. I hate it when people do that and then try to drive away pretending they hadn't done anything.

i reckon punching would have been fine, killing them would have been bad though :) similar happened to me this week, in my works car park... and no-one saw anything - argh

Well done Tracy!
Thanks for sharing Tracy. Bravo to you. I had never heard of this before. I peaked in to the site for a moment but saved the link when I have more time to really check it out.

I do it on a pretty regular basis....$25 to a lot of us is less than nothing. Many pay more for coffee in a week. To a woman struggling to start a business in say, the Congo, it's the difference between success or failure.

Cindy L This challenge came simply because i helped someone. I was nearly home from a quick run after work when i find my landlady waiting for me at the door. She had waited for me to come home to ask me a favour. a very dear friend of hers suffers from rheumatoid arthritis, leaving her in constant pain in her neck, shoulders, back and also limiting her motor functions on her arms and hands. knowing i used to massage, my landlady asked me to help massage her friends shoulders, neck and arms, so she could simply have a good nights sleep. i spent an hour and a half massaging, until she could reasonably move her neck from side to side, and speaking to her, found she dedicates her life to her job as a cardiologist. so just as she spends her life helping others, i helped her have a good nights sleep.
i feel fantastic, full of purpose, simply because i helped someone. i hope whoever takes this challenge, that you also feel good too.

Why not ask for some advice from other Challenge takers, or read some of the Challenge guides first?
OK, I'll keep working at it!Loading
