Garudasana will improve balance, strengthen the legs, knees and ankles. It stretches and tones leg muscles and can relieve cramp. It also makes you look like you're desperate for a pee...who said yoga wasn't fun?
Hold for as long as is comfortable, 20-30 seconds for early attempts, then increase it. Repeat 2/3 times on each leg and smile.
