Mostly for ex or serving military personnel.
Troops use fast-roping as a technique for rapidly deploying from a helicopterr in places where the helicopter itself cannot touch down. It is quicker than abseiling (rappelling), although more dangerous, because the rope is not attached with a descender. The person holds onto the rope with his/her gloved hands and feet and slides down it.
Fast rope from a helicopter Challenge rules

- Ensure that you are properly trained and certified for this deployment.
- Not all types of physical activity are suitable for everyone. Users take Challenges and training advice at their own personal risk.

Why not ask for some advice from other Challenge takers, or read some of the Challenge guides first?OK, I'll keep working at it!
