Gavin L Go Running in the Rain Challenge

Contributorgold Gavin L When I started tonight I thought that it would definitely rain. Then the clouds disappeared. About 5km in I ran through some water sprinklers and thought that would be all the water I would get on the run. When I was almost home it rained and rained. So finally I have done it.

Jodi D Go Running in the Rain Challenge

Contributorgold Jodi D I have yet to catch the rain. I keep going out on gloomy rainy days, and it keeps taking a break the entire time I'm out there. One thing this challenge has taught me so far is that I prefer those wet days. Everything smells better. it's cooler, and as it turns out rain is a poor excuse to skip a run!

lol, I did the same this morning, pouring so hard when I woke up that my yard is full of puddles and the ditches are way deeper than normal, then it just quit for the 20 mins I was out there, and started back up as I was turning into the driveway! crazy! :)

FINALLY!!! I took this challenge 5 months ago and I missed the rain. There were times it rained after I ran and before I ran and even snowed! But finally today I ran in the rain. Thunderstorm warnings in the area and at one time the tornado sirens went off. But was able to squeeze in 4 miles:)

I tried the all weather runner challenge and the wind appears to have disappeared forever. You should try it - motivates me to get out as in Britain you can never predict the weather!

I'd call it completed ... unless you made the rain stop.

David B encouraged this.

I'm going to wait until I get a good soaking in the rain while running before I hit complete.

Kathleen W and Damien D encouraged this.

On the few occasions I've been motivated to go for it, the rain has actually stopped. What the hell??

Vicki B Go Running in the Rain Challenge

Contributorgold Vicki B Thought I might have missed this, as Spain's summer looked like it had started, but what started as a bit of a shower when I left the house, quicly became a downpour. Got a few odd looks from car drivers, but it was great fun, and not cold, which helps
