Anne Margaret S So grateful for my life and my wonderful family. I've learned in life that when life gives you lemons - grow an orchard - meaning profit by the bitterness that some of life's experiences can and will bring to us. I have learned through such a tough life that happiness comes through this kind of stuff, family, friends, and great experiences. Blessed to have a wonderful family, 2 beautiful daughters already in their 20s with one already having found her life employment. 3 great dogs. Multiple degrees ranging from Designer to Neuroscience to Med School student. Life is a moment that will never get to be replayed - enjoy every moment: good, bad AND ugly. For in the ugly, we find life's beauty! :)
Remind yourself how fortunate you are to breathe, to walk, to see, to be strong and healthy. It can be easy to take the miracle of life for granted.

“It is too easy to become bitter when life hands you lemons but: it is really worth keeping yourself fit and happy. I been through several serious life-threatening operations and survived them all thanks to God who helped me through each and every one. Now I am back to 100% health and appreciate the many blessing life has to offer. ”

Ashley M I am so greatful for my boyfriend and my family and especially my child. He was born with a birth defect where no one thought he would lead an okay life, but everyone is wrong because he is developmentally on track and we now know he will walk, talk, and feed himself when he gets older. It was a complete miracle to find out. :)
Hannah T I feel guilty for not doing this more often. I seem to get so swept up with the hustle and bustle of daily life that I forget to appreciate the things in life my family and I have. I'm thankful for my wonderful husband-to-be; I'm grateful for all of my family even if they are a bunch of nutters! I'm so, so blessed to still be able to talk to my Grandad at 85 years old - he's still going. Most of all, I'm grateful for everyday that I am able to just get up and walk, not have too many worries weighing me down and really take in the world around me. You never know when something may take it all away. I am grateful that I have had the experience of life so that I know no matter how horrible things get, they will always get better in some way. Life will always be full of ups and downs; the difference between stepping stones and stumbling blocks is how you use them.x
Amanda S Sitting my friend's boat today looking at one of the familiar places & faces i've known from living in this area all my life, it hit me that i'm so thankful for the few good people i have left in my life & the beautifully natural area i live in....after two very difficult years of finding myself out in the world, away from everything & everyone i've grown up knowing, i'm thankful for the life experiences & the path that has lead me back 'home' to see all the beauty with fresh eyes.

Mel R I just clicked to take this challenge and feel like clicking that I have completed it at the same time. Funnily enough I was talking about this subject with hubby earlier and how I count my blessings every single day. There is always sooo much people want and they are always looking for the next best things to make them happy. STOP and just look at what you have got and that does not have to be material stuff either.
Nope, I click completed although this is an ongoing practice for me 24/7.
Matteo R Greteful for life, for my family that loves me and support me, and for my good friends, also grateful for pleasures of life, and for all the undervalued things that make my existence like I love it.
Warren K I am grateful to have gone though the Army without loss of life or limb.
To have lived and raised my children in two different countries that both value racial equality, freedom of religion, democracy and equal rights for women makes me a lucky man and my children blessed.
