Karen W only managed 2 mins today, although I had just done a 9mile run beforehand.
This is a challenge for those of you looking to put your abdominal strength to the test. The plank pose is a great exercise to work those abdominal muscles and will build endurance in your back and stabilizer muscles –Check this site out http://www.ehow.com/way_5189133_plank-exercise-routine.html for more info on the benefits. Hold the plank for 5 minutes or longer maintaining correct posture to complete this challenge. For a great demo of the plank pose visit: http://www.exercise4weightloss.com/transverse-abdominal-exercises.html#plank_pose . This challenge is more difficult than it looks, so if you cannot complete it first time, practice every day slowly building up your time... Good luck :-)
Hold the plank pose for 5 minutes Challenge rules
“Very hard to hold for 5 min. 3 min was the longest time I managed to hold this position for until today ;-) feeling great! Good luck to everyone who is taking this challenge!”

Beki J I haven't put a lot of effort into this yet, but I did hold it for 3 mins 35 the other week, so not too far to go :) I will get back on the case!

Jenn D 3:10 today... form was getting compromised around 3 minutes though. Trying to hold an extra 5 seconds every day. Completing other abdominal workouts is making this more challenging since I'm always a bit sore when I come at this one. Will keep going though!

I'm finding my problem is similar. I'm doing other ABD intensive exercises before this one. We're just making it even harder on ourselves to complete this one.
Find it hard fitting everything in, I've currently got 50 pull ups in one hit app going on, 100 press ups in one hit challenge this on top of my daily weight training, by no means near completion on either of these. Taking to much on maybe. Will stick with the challenges ( I will complete )

Ken H Slightly shaky at the end. Not so good, plans will now have to be altered to include better core work. All good to find out :)

Natalia C Did this a couple months ago with my CFSF family. If one person dropped, we all had to do 30 burpees. NOBODY dropped! Gonna do this as part of my warm up today.

Why not ask for some advice from other Challenge takers, or read some of the Challenge guides first?
