This is a challenge for those of you looking to put your abdominal strength to the test. The plank pose is a great exercise to work those abdominal muscles and will build endurance in your back and stabilizer muscles –Check this site out http://www.ehow.com/way_5189133_plank-exercise-routine.html for more info on the benefits. Hold the plank for 5 minutes or longer maintaining correct posture to complete this challenge. For a great demo of the plank pose visit: http://www.exercise4weightloss.com/transverse-abdominal-exercises.html#plank_pose . This challenge is more difficult than it looks, so if you cannot complete it first time, practice every day slowly building up your time... Good luck :-)

“I did this one just before I clicked "take the challenge", because I did not know I could do 5 minutes of this, didn't even know I could do 3 minutes! , All I did was not giving up, I did 5 minutes sharp, I could have done more, but I just decided to stop because of the pain hehehe 2 things I've learned from this: 1º - You are stronger than you think 2º - Your limitations are also in your mind”

Nocturnal R Can't believe it. I took this challenge 1 year ago. And then found out that it was almost impossible to reach it. And months later, I discovered that with consistent and disciplined training, I can progress. Thanks to the challenges in Tribesports, I have progressed and can eventually add this feather to my cap :-)

Why not ask for some advice from other Challenge takers, or read some of the Challenge guides first?OK, I'll keep working at it!
