Hold the superman position for 30 seconds

This exercise helps to strengthen the lower back, butt, and hamstrings. Lay on the floor facing down with your arms straight out in front of you. With a very small movement, lift your head and feet off the ground. This should be just enough to have you balancing all your weight on your stomach. Do not lift your arms and legs too far.

Contributorgold Mark H Don't usually remember to do this exercise (selective memory, I guess), but it came at the end of a gruelling strength training session yesterday and we had to hold it for 2 minutes, but there's a trick you can use to help and that is to keep your abdomen partially inflated from a deep breath this helps hold the position, the rest is lower back strength.
