You should take up my new challenge, 'Log 30 mins of Horse Stance' if you're doing a lot of it. No harm in gaining from your hard work, is there?

it is open until you are ready to hold for one minute...then its completed:)
Scott H answered the question I notice there is not a limit on time to acieve this. Is that correct?
i would say that would be fine. Its your body and if your body is more suited to feet angled at 45 degress then go for it. Believe me you will get the same benefits whatever the angle of your feet.
Hello every one, I am Debbie. I was wondering if also this can be done in Shikdachi, where the feet are angled at 45 degrees.?
Jon A answered the question Bamboo pole?
As long as it has the capacity to roll off (if you don't prevent it with proper form) I think any sort of pole will do.
Michael H Can't actually get deep enough into my stance to balance a pole lol!!! May be a more difficult challenge than I first expected!!!
Yeah I have failed on that challenge quite a few times. The picture of it looks so simple!
Keith V Did the challenge with my brother and its fun.
Marce B This was way harder than I expected. Had to get down real low to stop the pole from rolling off. Struggled to get up again after a minute! Still, I got it done! Now for Italy v Spain in the Euro final!
Ian C answered the question Bamboo pole?
Having any sort of pole really helps keep your level of squat in check. A pole is highly recommended!
Kirstin M Harder than it sounds! Managed 40 secs twice so far, building up to the full minute :)
Tony H answered the question Bamboo pole?
I hope so i used a regular wooden pole and can't see any difference
Hideki S encouraged this.
James K asked Bamboo pole?
Could I complete this without one?
Why not ask for some advice from other Challenge takers, or read some of the Challenge guides first?
OK, I'll keep working at it!Loading
