I have created these challenges to try and encourage more of the female members of Tribesports to try and build a strong, healthy (and aesthetic) body using weightlifting.

If you want to sculpt a body simillar to the fitness model in the challenge picture, it is time to wake up and realise that religious cardio is not the answer. You need to lift weights and build that shape.

To complete the challenge, you need to be able to:
• Squat 75% of your bodyweight.
• Deadlift 75% of your bodyweight.
• Bench press 50% of your bodyweight.
• Be able to perform at least 1 chin up and 3 full dips.

Vylisa A Lady Lifter level 2 Challenge

Contributorgold Vylisa A Am up to almost 150% back squat, approx 90-95% deadlift and 55% bench press. Still off with the chin ups, have managed one in the past but lost it since. Something to work on.

Kaye D Lady Lifter level 2 Challenge

Contributorgold Kaye D Done. I weigh 60kg.

Deadlift Max = 80kg
Squat = 50kg
Bench Press 27.5 kg

Chins = ok. Dips just about!!

Helen L Lady Lifter level 2 Challenge

Contributorgold Helen L This week I have done bench press and deadlift at 80% of my bodweight, I've done my first ever chin up and 4 x 8 reps tricep dips. Just need to work on those barbell squats!

Victoria C Lady Lifter level 2 Challenge

Contributorgold Victoria C I can deadlift 120% of my body weight and just about bench press 50% of my body weight but struggling to squat 75%. I will get there though. Watch this space...lol

Nadege C Lady Lifter level 2 Challenge

Contributorgold Nadege C Yeah! I can mark this challenge as completed. To meet the requirements listed I need to do
• Squat 96lbs
• Deadlift 96lbs
• Bench press 64lbs
• Be able to perform at least 1 chin up and 3 full dips.

I Squat 155lbs (121%), Deadlift 180lbs (140%) and I JUST bench pressed 65lbs (51%) for the first time yesterday! It was my first time bench pressing! I've been focusing mostly strict overhead presses before that. Doing my first chin up was one of my milestones accomplishments. I still struggle with dips but I can string 3 now! :)

Lisa M Lady Lifter level 2 Challenge

Contributorgold Lisa M Right so at 8st 10lb /55kg, this challenge requires me to:
squat 41.25kg (did 41.25kg)
deadlift 41.25kg (did 41.25kg)
bench press 27.5kg (did 30kg)
(I did 3 of each)

Unfortunately I cannot complete this challenge yet as do not have the equipment/facility to do chin ups or full dips - very annoying!

I'm getting a pull up bar for Christmas and can't wait! Cags posted an article the other day on how to progress on pull ups - there's some good tips :) Must have a look at that vid - thanks
