Work your way up to the grand. leg presses are great lower body exercises for all the major leg and hip muscles. create a deficit of plates at your gym by putting 1000lbs on the sled and pushing them up. Please take your time, and work your way up to this and be sure to use the machines safety equipment or have 2 spotters to assist you

Don J 1080 lbs for 8 reps... I don't think 2 spotters would be able to help... just sayin'. Set the machine up for safety and you won't crush yourself if you drop the weight.
