Laura S Decided to bite the bullet and step on the scale this morning. Down .1428 stone (2 lbs) since March 1st.
Losing a stone in weight isn't necessarily for everyone, but if you know you are carrying some excess weight (more than a stone), you should be aiming to burn fat and lose a stone as a good target.
Take it steady and dont't resort to drastic changes that you won't be able to keep up, instead look to make sustainable changes to your lifestyle that will last in the long term.

“Christmas 2011, I weighed 74kg (the most I'd ever weighed and I felt horrible). Thanks to a friend persuading me to do Great North Swim 2012, I set off on a fitness regime that has stuck and become part of my lifestyle. I got down to 63kg ahead of the swim and have maintained a steady 66kg and ideal BMI ever since.”

Sinéad M I started the year at a round 11st. At least 1st. overweight, and could do with losing another one for good measure. I have managed to lose 3lbs so far this year, and I'm really hoping to keep this downward momentum going and get to my target weight in 2015. Keep me strong, TS!!!

Lilia V I'm still sneaking sweets or a small piece of chocolate but don't feel guilty. Most of my diet is now fruits and veg. The way to go to a slimmer self!
Sinéad M I lost a stone earlier this year, so I could complete now... but there's still at least another stone that needs to go, so I'll start from now and use this challenge to post my progress on getting back to a healthier weight
Lilia V My second attempt at this challenge start today....My strategy is to eat lots of fruit & veg salads, pasta and snack on crispy rye bread between meals. 1 fish and 1 red meat meals a week to keep omega 3 and iron levels topped up. Full fat milk and natural cottage cheese for calcium - a must. No cheese, cakes, fizzy drinks, sweets or big meals! Let's see how this goes...
Why not ask for some advice from other Challenge takers, or read some of the Challenge guides first?OK, I'll keep working at it!
