Susan W +200 push-ups on Friday. Done!
100 push ups in one go is probably the best known push up challenge to fitness enthusiasts, but it is rare to find someone who is able to complete it with proper push up form on every rep.
Work towards completing this challenge by slowly increasing your reps every session and improving strength and endurance in your chest and arms until you are able to do 100 push ups in one set, putting you up there with the elite.
Training for press ups doesn’t take a lot of time up either, so what is your excuse?

“Was not sure if I was up to this just yet but gave it a go and....... Victory is mine! Going to keep on these to see if I can break a new PB (117) and go for the Base record which is 150ish (I think).”

Loretta A I just completed the 50 push up challenge and will take it from here. Will have to work a while on my push ups and maybe in 4 weeks I will see how many I can do in one set. Hopefully by summer I will be able to do 100 in one go.

Lucesita J Maybe it's just in my head but counting off my pushups in sets of 10 instead of counting from 1 to 100 seems so much better. Of course now that I'm done doing 100 pushups in one shot, I had to correct about half the words in this post because me arms won't stop shaking,

I'll give it a go, I'm always looking for more structure in my workouts! I'm starting at level 1, i'll let you know how it goes.
Ok I'll take your advice. Just did another 60 in groups of 10, but only had 30 sec rest. I still, after years of training, fall into the trap of assuming that unless it's ridiculously hard I'm not doing it right. A slow and steady building up of s...
Well just done my first set. In groups of ten and managed to get straight through to 100 very comfortably. A great way to break it up. Think I might try the next level up again, what do you think?
Liking the look of this. I'll be up for trying it out. Think I'll aim for level 3. I'll keep you posted on my progress.
Why not ask for some advice from other Challenge takers, or read some of the Challenge guides first?OK, I'll keep working at it!
