Kym W Day 4 5:12 500m Much gentler pace and a different route ( more elevation). Really enjoyed this one even though it was dark and I was alone.

Day 5: Wrapped up this challenge with a long barefoot walk; 3090 metres around some of the reservoirs in Mount Tabor Park in Portland, Oregon. One gentleman even mentioned in passing "you've got to toughen up your feet sometime!"

Day 4: Pretty much the same route as yesterday, but it really was 640 metres this time. My feet are doing fine.

Day 3: 640 metres barefoot through the park and around the block, then back to work. Concrete or asphalt paths all the way.

Day 2: A brief barefoot walk before going into the store. 630 metres logged, temperature about 5º C, the ground was wet from the light rain.

Day 1: upping the distance a little; 740 m in the cold rain; 4º C, so just starting to feel the nip in my feet.

Kate N Day 1/5 - (Ouch, very hot day here oday - burned the soles of my feet on the ground. Had better do this early morning during summer!)

On the boardwalk after dinner. I asked my husband to carry my shoes so I could complete this challenge. (I am NOT a Tribesports fanatic, no sir!)

After a 5 mile run, took of shoes and socks, hung them around my neck and walked the rest of the way home. It had been raining, so I got to splash through some puddles barefoot!
