You've seen many "Rest" challenges over the months but this is such an important, nay essential, part of a healthy fitness program--so here's another chance to take good care of ourselves. Starting now, build in one full rest day into your workout week. Plan your schedule carefully to accommodate daily activity in all domains of your life--those demands may not be restful! R U up for this?

- Starting now, build in one FULL rest day into your workout week. Plan your schedule carefully to accommodate all the demands in your busy life.
- If you can't kick back and unwind yet, at least build in a super-easy day that requires very little physical and mental effort.
- Monitor your progress and performance--a daily log or journal is a great way to do this!
- Consider joining the Relax and Recover Tribe--let us know how/what you're doing :)

Candida B Enjoying my rest day today...well 587+ calf raises done( I couldn't help it) while queuing to vote for Australia's next disaster...
Candida B I'm on to my 6th day no running....which I consider rest even if I do weights etc...So one of these days can count for #1 for this week lol
Bridget C This is absolutely a habit now, I used to always pack my exercise rest days with a huge list of things to get done but I now make sure every week I give myself a true day off from all bar the bare minimum and don't feel guilty about taking the rest, I work hard for it the other days!

Bridget C Sick kids and busy life meant rest days dropped off but seriously back on track this week with the most relaxing day I've had in ages!!
Teresa D had my foot op yesterday, all went well, but now hobbling round with a nice big sexy shoe! hope it heals soon , bored already! ;o(

Kel M This is more difficult than I thought !! Today other than few TS core challenges & 1km trot ..I will REST body & mind ...sights set my first 10km run tomorrow (beach run weather permitting )
Bridget C Rest day yesterday, tried to limit all unnecessary non-exercise related activities as well.
Kel M Forced Rest day ..purely don't have energy ..last few weeks catching up ....running back & forward to work btwn netty carnival with youngest all week ....very sick bedridden eldest ..somedays u just can't do it all ...blah
Bridget C Yesterday I hung out with my kids for the day then traveled to stay with my sister and a friend for the night to have nibbles, wines and much needed catch ups, lovely rest day :)
Kel M Hugest weekend ever !!!! awoke refreshed ...little bruised n battered ..but can't wipe smile n feelin of achievement ...well deserved REST DAY ..rewarding myself lunch n shopping with best friend who stood by myside throughout

Bridget C Great challenge for me as I normally spend my exercise rest day busy catching up on household/social stuff so this week I planned today as a real rest day with minimum responsibilities and will do my best to keep it up each week :)

Carol Ann B going to make my rest day a Saturday each week.. partly because our family schedule is too busy for me to fit in any exercise.. but mostly because I can relax on Saturday evenings watching 'Strictly come dancing' soon.. oh yeah!!
Rodney M Today did nothing... My legs & body was tired after last week...Now hopefully I am up for the AM run in the morning.
Why not ask for some advice from other Challenge takers, or read some of the Challenge guides first?OK, I'll keep working at it!
