A 1.5 mile run is often used as a test of fitness and in almost all physical fitness tests for organisations from the police to the special forces. The challenge is to run 1.5 miles outside, this is a minimum distance of 2.41 in km, in under 10 minutes. You can train for the challenge on a treadmill, but the run must be completed outside.

Anna H Okay I did 2.44km in the 10 minutes BUT, I did it was done in an intermittent sprinting/walking style pausing my stopwatch while I walked. In reality I'm probably about 1:30-2:00 mins off the target. I did manage to catch the sunset in between breaths. Keep on keeping on.

Aishling A I'm training to hit this when the navy are recruiting again. I've only started training. My time is 22.40s at the moment.
Graham H getting closer 1.48 miles in 12:13 or 1.52 in 12:34 but will a minute or 2 off, but not giving up, even though i prefer log to fast.
Casper A 10minutes40seconds today. Might need a few weeks of interval training to get this quite right.
