The half marathon distance is 21.1km or 13.1 miles. Training for 3 of these events in one year will keep you running for at least 5 or 6 months out of the year. Go ahead and make plans now.

Kel M 3rd is offically lil longer than half ..25km ...tough gig ...legs hit wall 16km but dug deep n never have up ! Stronger for the struggle ...my bestie n speedy friend ran me in the last km ..count my self lucky have incredible friend along for this wild ride

Denise S My first half marathon is scheduled for early Sept 2014 with the second one in October 2014. Haven't picked a third one yet, but I will have time.
Katy D 2/3 - Run the Rockies with a time of 2:34...quite awesome considering we started at an elevation of 9500' and ended up at about 9100'...I'm a Virginny Girl where our elevation runs about 2500'

Kel M 2/3 ....2nd half marathon within 7wks ...training didn't go to plan due to virus I lead up (16days) ..but great course n mint conditions ! PB by 40sec ..happy til next one ;)

Official time 2:35.28, no PR but it was great to be running again...now to train for the Run the Rockies Half in Colorado in June :)

DIVA Half in Myrtle Beach-April 27; Rock 'N Roll Half in Virginia Beach-August 31; Hokie Half here in Blacksburg, VA Oct 12...oh wait....there is a 4th...Run the Rockies in Frisco, CO-June 7!
