Angela T run three done week number three completed. one more to go. awesome challenge for me. It is really keeping me on track.
Leanne R Grrr, I can only make myself do once a week but now that spring is on its way - I think I'll be better motivated. I prefer to run outside rather than a treadmill.
Paola V I'm starting this from yesterday :) I have been trying to get back into running for about one month but never managed to put in more than 2 days a week - maybe this challenge will help!
Found yesterday treadmill work out motivating: a month ago I could barely jog at 6.5 km/hour for 60 seconds... yesterday (I usually do my walk/runs outdoors, so I do not have a clue about speed) I was back on the treadmill and managed 8 km/hour for 90 seconds! It felt a big improvement for me! (PS I am following the NHS couch to 5 plan, on week 2)
Dianne D I'm definitely a beginner at running. I always start with a 5 minute warm-up. I am no where near able to run a mile non-stop. What seems to work good for me is running 1 minute then walk 30 seconds to a minute. Did 2.07 miles on the treadmill today!
Paola V encouraged this.
Dianne D Decided to take this challenge since I am on the treadmill 3 to 4 times a week already. The only problem is I am just getting started with my running. I have never been a runner but want to give it my best try!
Paula M encouraged this.
Why not ask for some advice from other Challenge takers, or read some of the Challenge guides first?OK, I'll keep working at it!
