Mavis M only got 42 miles :( but I'm signed up for 50 miles in June and I WILL complete it.
I created this to help ease gently back into running after the Marathon in April, but anyone else who wants to get some running into their daily lives and some miles under their belt should have a go at this challenge. Total up 50 miles of running through the month of May, any speed, and distance runs, just accumulate 50 by the end of the month,

“If you do the math, 80.5km is roughly 20km per week and if you do 2 short runs (5-7km) and 1 longer run, you should easily clock more than 20km per week without burning out. Discipline is the key. Enjoy running. :)”

Nita K Finally I completed my challenge of 50 miles yesterday by doing 10 K in 1:17:35. I still have a week to go and will add a few more Kms. Next month I am going to challenge myself and do better

Nita K Logged 12 Kms in 1:35:05 today. I have just 6 more Kms to complete my challenge. If possible I will do 10 K tomorrow. I still have 10 days to go.
Nita K 5 Kms of Jog/ walk in 0:39:08 Today. Today seemed to be one of the most hottest day in Mumbai, India. 7.30 pm in the evening was warm and humid. Finished 62 Kms till today for the May challenge.

Nita K It was a very satifyiing Run/ jog / walk / of 21 Kms in 2:58:14. The weather here in Mumbai, India is very humid even in the evening when I started at 5 pm. I started with warm up and ended with the stretches.I am happy because I could complete 21 K at ease specially since I have 1 cartiladge instead of three in one knee which was operated upon after a road accident 10 years ago. Doctors said that I will never be able to walk without support. I prooved them wrong with my determination and dedication.
I regularly challenge myself. Today I completed 57 K for the month and still have a few more days to complete my challenge.
Nita K Completed 36 Kms on 17th May. Going for the Kodai ( South India ) endurance run of 21 Kms on the 3rd June. Will start training harder from Sunday.
