Contributorsilver Christopher S One of my new goals, after breaking 50mins a couple of times in May/June. Not sure how I can possibly manage 4:30/km for 10k, but then I never thought I could manage 5:00/km for 10k. :)

Brian F Run a 10k in less than 45 minutes Challenge

Contributorgold Brian F Great 10K run over a pretty tough Multi Terrain Course in 45.49 ( over 5 mins faster than last year!) my fastest 10k in over 10 years! Yeah I'm still buzzing! Going to rethink my race plans now and maybe run Jedburgh 10K rather than the Half Marathon as sub 45 min 10k is now within reach! Off to Glasgow to see Ultravox later and have a wee celebration dance!

Contributorgold Andrew M My current PB for this distance is about 47 minutes. I think sub-45 is hopefully something I can achieve with a few more months of training.

Speed sessions, hills and drills will work wonders. Your legs will feel lighter and you will run stronger and more efficiently. Shall we make a plan of a 3 month training phase? You will love it!!!

Thanks for the tips @nikos. I have to say, I'm pretty bad at scheduling speed sessions and running up hills. I tend to do similarly paced runs, which I know isn't the best way. I'd really appreciated any advice or plans you could recommend for me.
