10km is one of the standard race distances and benchmarks to measure yourself as a runner. Completing it in under 50 mins is a great target for someone of average fitness or who is fairly new to running.

Eric L This challenge will take me some time. I just did 10k in just over 52 minutes but I injured myself. I have to take a huge step back. First I have to take a break from running altogether and then get back into it very slowly...bummer!
Jamie L 10k in 49:12 - just barely, but it counts!

Lorraine K Ran 7.1miles today. Completed the first 3 miles in under 25mins and shouldn't have tried to include another challenge on top which was to complete 6 miles in under 50 mins. I was shattered at the end of it and only managed it in 51.50mins. I slowly ran home the rest of the way for another mile. I will get there though. This will not beat me.

Why not ask for some advice from other Challenge takers, or read some of the Challenge guides first?OK, I'll keep working at it!
