The Six Peaks Challenge is the longest extenstion of the popular Three Peaks Challenge, and involves climbing the highest peak in the six regions of the British Isles - England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland and Isle of Man. Starting with Snaefell on the Isle of Man, on to Ben Nevis in Scotland, Scafell Pike in England, Snowdon in Wales, Slieve Donard in Northern Ireland, and finishing with Carrantuohill in the Republic of Ireland. This makes the challenge 80km long, with a total ascent of 6000m, not to mention 2 sea crossings! This challenge is to complete the six peaks in 72 hours
