This is a drill recommended by @kday, it is perfect for improving your sprint times for big competitions:
To start with warm - Kevin recommends at least 2000m in various strokes
Then start your freestyle sprints - 20 x 12.5m: Odds are easy, evens are full-out

- Warm up with cardio training first
- 1st, 3rd, 5th, 7th, 9th, 11th, 13th, 15th, 17th, 19th lengths are easy
- 2nd, 4th, 6th, 8th, 10th, 12th, 14th, 16th, 18th, 20th lengths are all-out
