“This is difficult since I used to blame my parents for a lot of my problems. But I've recognized that they might have been responsible when I was a kid, but since then I've grown up and make my own choices. What I am now is what I've made of myself.”

Kirstin M Take Responsibility Challenge

Contributorgold Kirstin M I have taken more than enough me time to get to grips with some painful times and need to constantly kick start myself. Having let my weight creep up and my fitness decrease, time to take charge again! Tribesports once again to the rescue :)

Bridget C Take Responsibility Challenge

Contributorgold Bridget C Though I carry no blame or regret in my past, lately during some stressful times it has been easy to be passive and wish things were different, circumstances would change, people (me included) would be better but surprise, surprise nothing changed because I have not done anything differently. So from today I will change, I will create the life I want and get back to being in charge of what I do and how I react to things. My year will finish on a high and I will continue it into next year and get my family back into a better space, exciting :) :) Better log off and get going....

Irene M Take Responsibility Challenge

Contributorgold Irene M I have been so angry that the prep room that is shared between science teachers was a mess. I finally took responsibility and cleaned it and now I feel so happy every time I walk in there : )

Kirstie M Take Responsibility Challenge

Contributorgold Kirstie M I can't tell you how true this is! It sounds like the most obvious thing in the world, but only when I realised that if I wanted to lose weight it was up to me to eat a bit less, and up to me to get off my fat bum and move around did I actually start to see any changes that lasted. I have lost (almost) 3 clothes sizes since then, and haven't looked back! I'm a much happier person now, and (I think!) a much nicer person to be around. Seize the day!

Carpe diem indeed. Good effort, Kirstie :)
