This will help develop balance, don't raise arms above the head if you have high blood pressure or if you haven't done this before, hands in prayer position is just fine. Rest your foot wherever it feels comfortable but avoid resting it against directly on the knee joint.
Hold for 8-12 breaths and keep smiling.

“Did it on each leg for 10 deep breaths! I have a good balance, thanks all the years of yoga and ballet. I heard there's been a research about performing better while smiling, so smile while exercising, it helps! Also swearing helps, but I think smiling is a nicer option :)”

Heather W Felt good! Did it with my little ones to help them calm down and get ready to read before bed :)
Andreia G Didn't think I would do it on the first try but actually did. 10 breaths on one leg, 11 on the other.
Tawanna C encouraged this.
Wanda P Done! This is where I realize I have more flex in my right joint, my left side tilts a little more, and my foot slides but I held about the knee for twelve long breaths
Sabri N After having completed the stand on one leg for 60 seconds with eyes closed challenge, i found the tree challenge easy. Did 1:00 on the left leg, then realised i had to hold for 15 breaths, so held it for 15 breaths on the right leg and 15 breaths on the left leg again!!!
Katrina P Completed the tree pose with arms raised above my head. Held it for one minute on each leg! :)
Christy H only held for 8 breathes on each leg today... my body is complaining after starting up a while bunch of challenges at once yesterday! Balance is one of my biggest weaknesses, so I'm going to keep going...
Karin S I could do the left leg stand for 8 breaths, but on the right leg I could not get even one breath this time.
Why not ask for some advice from other Challenge takers, or read some of the Challenge guides first?OK, I'll keep working at it!
