Lara V feeling much better now! sometimes all you need is to take a good nap and when you wake up just stay in bed and sleep a little longer
Training Hard? Working Hard? Playing Hard?
So here's a challenge that all sportspeople could benefit from on occasion. A really good night's sleep.
You'll know the best way to ensure that you are able to sleep - chances are if you're training regularly that shouldn't be a problem. But still making a priority to avoid distractions and hit the pillow early is surprisingly challenging these days.
Treat yourself to a good night's sleep! Challenge rules
- Try to add an hour to your minimum daily average night's sleep or let nature wake you up
- Disconnect anything that could disturb you - phones, alarm clocks etc.
- Mark the challenge complete if, by lunchtime, you are feeling the rewards of nature's true restorative!
- Not all types of physical activity are suitable for everyone. Users take Challenges and training advice at their own personal risk.
“After the workout yesterday, had a lovely meal with the boyfriend watched some house and final of Game of Thrones and went to sleep. Must have slept like a rock!! Woke up feeling great. (:”

Charlotte C First time in a while that I was able to go to bed when I was tired, not a long time after that point, and that I didn't have to wake to an alarm the following morning. This is my definition of a good night's sleep. I had late breakfast and coffee, and am now getting ready for the gym! Feeling so refreshed.
Shelia B I slept really good last night the best night in awhile. I'm working so hard that I'm wearing myself out now. I fell a sleep on the couch watching TV.
Laura S Looking forward to being able to call this challenge complete! Have not had an uninterrupted night of sleep since I signed up for it.
Simone B Completed Thurs 16/1 - Had a good 7 hours sleep last night, no tossing and turning like most nights.
Why not ask for some advice from other Challenge takers, or read some of the Challenge guides first?OK, I'll keep working at it!
