Teresa D Wait! - You mean I've lost THAT much weight? Challenge

Contributorgold Teresa D this has been on my challenge list from day one x i've been both looking forward to and at the same time dreading it! got a bit of a taster of it today when i took 2 kiddies for a walk around the local trail. the little one 17mths wouldn't walk at all, so i put him on my shoulders and walked the trail/fields for an hour x 15mins. deary me! at a guess he only weighs about a stone and a half - i lost three and a half (x admittedly have put one back on)... but i'm now dreading this challenge even more- i struggled to walk, let alone run! eek!

Ian I Wait! - You mean I've lost THAT much weight? Challenge

Contributorgold Ian I Having lost nearly 7 stone I was not looking forward to this challenge. However I gave my daughter (a little over 7 stone) a piggy back around the block and although I am a lot fitter now it was hard work and it makes me wonder how I managed to get anywhere carrying all that extra baggage 24/7. That is definitely somewhere I never want to be again.

Cory W Wait! - You mean I've lost THAT much weight? Challenge

Contributorgold Cory W Not fun at all, I don't know how my body was carrying that extra weight all those years my knees were hurting within the first 5 minutes, 70lbs that will stay gone forever!

Well here I am a year later and I've maintained my weight, woohoo!

Jacqueline S Wait! - You mean I've lost THAT much weight? Challenge

Contributorgold Jacqueline S I lost 34 llbs 18 months ago and remember going for a run at my heaviest. It was horrible. It felt like the gravitational pull had changed and was pulling my whole body down to my legs and that my poor lungs were the size of grapes for the amount of oxygen they were giving me! Now that I have so much more less fat and have more muscle, I feel 'bouncy' there is no other way to describe it! I will attempt to get 34lbs into my backpack and see how far I get with it....don't wait up!

Nice one Jacqueline - well done on your weightloss, love your lungs like grapes analogy!

Jamie L Wait! - You mean I've lost THAT much weight? Challenge

Contributorgold Jamie L Here's a picture of me taking my dog for walk, while wearing my son's weighted vest carrying 34lbs of extra weight. It was great to get rid of it the first time, and it was much easier to drop it this time, although in both cases, I had help. I can't believe how heavy that was! No way I could run with it. Thanks for the challenge and the reminder of how much lighter and better I feel now.

Sam S Wait! - You mean I've lost THAT much weight? Challenge

Contributorgold Sam S What a great challenge, so far (because there is more to come) I've lost 19lbs. When I come back from my dads wedding this weekend I'll be taking up this challenge to remind myself never to put this weight on again. I've gone up and down about 3stone on some ridiculous cycle of weight loss and gain through my twenties and thirties. No more!

Wow that's brilliant - well done : )
