Jennifer P Sunday's run. Just catching up on posts!
Take your usual run, or any part of it and pack it with extra mileage. In other words, take a few detours and stretch your usual distance into at least twice what you usually do. Make a mile into two miles, or even three. Be creative and daring. But be careful, of course. Make your map look like a scribble instead of a line.

“I added several cul-de-sacs and a couple new streets. Great idea to add some extra mileage.”

Jennifer P I didn't know where I was going to end up half the time. Sunday's run was fun and the last three miles was completed while carrying my shopping!

Brandon G My usual run is (was) 5km. This is my 10km from last week. It was REALLY odd to keep running towards and then away from my home! I almost got lost 3 times! Great fun!
Lorain R My usual 4.2 mile run turned into 9.08 after I took a detour through the little subdivision and ran up and down every lane. The map looks like it had fingers.
Jennifer R And did this in the black of 4 AM...thank goodness for houses with motion sensor lights! :)

Lucille W This challenge! My goodness! It is because of this challenge that I ran a half marathon distance today.
That was not the plan when I started out - but as I ran I kept finding little loops I could add on to my run. I had in mind the "be creative" part of the rules for adding distance. So every opportunity I just added some. And all of a sudden I was at 13.1 miles.
Sneaks up on you!
Irene M Its hot at 8 AM and I didn't want to go for a run this morning but knew I couldn't put it off as it will only get hotter. So I decided to try and change up my route. I get a bit mixed up in the middle but it was nice motivation to get out there this morning. Thanks for this one Lorain!
Johnny Miles ' Did this yesterday. Took a right, when I should have turned left. My 5k turned into a 12k run! More than I intended, but a great workout!

Why not ask for some advice from other Challenge takers, or read some of the Challenge guides first?OK, I'll keep working at it!
