Your Run, Loaded

Take your usual run, or any part of it and pack it with extra mileage. In other words, take a few detours and stretch your usual distance into at least twice what you usually do. Make a mile into two miles, or even three. Be creative and daring. But be careful, of course. Make your map look like a scribble instead of a line.

Your Run, Loaded Challenge rules

  1. Go out of your way to pack your usual distance with extra distance be circling, doubling-back, be creative.
  2. Have fun!
  3. Not all types of physical activity are suitable for everyone. Users take Challenges and training advice at their own personal risk.

Lucille W Your Run, Loaded Challenge

Contributorgold Lucille W This challenge! My goodness! It is because of this challenge that I ran a half marathon distance today.
That was not the plan when I started out - but as I ran I kept finding little loops I could add on to my run. I had in mind the "be creative" part of the rules for adding distance. So every opportunity I just added some. And all of a sudden I was at 13.1 miles.

Irene M Your Run, Loaded Challenge

Contributorgold Irene M Its hot at 8 AM and I didn't want to go for a run this morning but knew I couldn't put it off as it will only get hotter. So I decided to try and change up my route. I get a bit mixed up in the middle but it was nice motivation to get out there this morning. Thanks for this one Lorain!
