They say by simply keeping track of what you do you tend to improve and do it more.... so Where did you do Yoga today? Let us know, and the more you keep track the more you will do yoga.... it is a very cool and easy way to improve.
Today is the park and the livingroom for me.... hope to go camping this month and say the mountain but not sure if have the time yet.

I mostly hated sport at school even though I did quite a lot outside the school timetable. However as a result I grew up thinking my own interests weren't really as legitimate as those pushed at school and gave up on them over time. One of the best lesson...
I didn't get involved in sports until my last two years of high school, and didn't start really committing to working out until this year. I hated PE in school and the coaches and gym teachers just didn't give a lick. So it was hard to enjoy that stuff wh...

Put the florettes of a raw head of cauliflower in a food processor, and grate. (5-10 1-second pulses should be sufficient; you don't want the pieces to be too small.) Heat 2 tsp oil (I use grapeseed), then add 1tsp cumin, 1 tsp cinnamon, 1 tsp garlic, 2 t...
This actually sounds really good, Ive done the grated cauliflower before as a rice substitute while following a no-carb diet but my version was much less exciting. 1. Food proccess florettes 2.Saute 3. Force into belly. Although a little more work, this...

Just read an excellent article in Runner's World about the training technique of Kenyan marathon runners. Rather than running at a sustainable pace, the Kenyan runners go at the pace of the fastest runner until they have to drop out - training at a higher ...
That sounds like a great training session and I can imagine that it works well. I believe that us weekend warriors spend too much time training and not enough time training really hard. One run a week like this would up the ante.

Anybody have any ideas. I got my bit fit again a few weeks ago and now my toes are going numb when I am climbing hills.
your foot may not be positioned on the pedal correctly, really you should be using the whole foot rather than putting pressure on the toe area that can then lead to you stiffening your toes (you won't notice this) and then the cramp/dull ache appears. i fin...

Hi, I don't have the ability to add equipment reviews for some reason so here is a quick note on the Camelbak Ultra LR vest: I'm getting into my distance running again and aspire to get into ultra running in the near future. I got a load of Amazon vouchers...
Cheers Eddie. It's strange as the reports I read about the Camelbak Ultra weren't very reliable either. Just shows you that you can't neccessarily trust what people say (especially on the internet) and if possible it's best try something on in a store or bo...

There's a few of us blogging weekly for MHFS http://www.mens10k.com/stephen-morrison-blog-keep-mum-and-carry-on/
Aye - good stuff. I've already had a read via the Facebook links. The Fathers' Day MHFS event is one of my favourites - great atmosphere. I always think it's uolifting - given the press that Central Scottish men get - to see thousands out for this organis...

For some reason a lot of people I know think that making a risotto is a long, hard and tricky task. It may be that the first one can be a little traumatic (giving up on adding stock, burning rice or 101 other little slips), but a little bit of practice c...
this sounds too awesome not to try!
