Easter Sunday - philosophical pondering

Topic • 4 replies

Feeling nostalgic and pensive on Easter Sunday, I have been reflecting on the meaning of life. Two questions I feel are worth contemplating: 1. Have you experienced joy in your life? 2. Have you brought joy to someone's life? What do you think?

Newest reply

like the old saying charity starts at home, when ya bring joy to someones life ya will get joy out of it to Too right Big Swede, the joy is in giving, not receiving, very apt at Easter time :)

Actually, if you stop eating meat, it ends up tasting pretty shitty when you go to eat it again.  I love the idea of a thick juicy steak, hamburger, or fried chicken. But if I go to eat it, it tastes like crap. The dirty secret nobody wants to talk about it...

Reducing number of required push ups

Now it requires ~ 670 /person/day to reach 10'000'000. I know I can't do that, but I can do 70 / day. Should the goal be reduced to 1'000'000?

How about a day in between to rest?

Topic • 1 reply

I have the understanding that it is best to challenge the same muscle groups every other day, leaving a day's rest in between for the muscle fibres to heal, yet many of the challenges that I love are focused towards training the same muscle groups every day...

I agree with you so I avoid challenges that focus on the same thing everyday since doing the same thing everyday for a month is counterproductive anyway. I try to make my challenges work in a three day a week sort of scheme or open ended for just that reaso...
