Am I counting this all wrong?

Question • 3 answers

Each time I hit complete on the previous challenge in the chain, I reset my distance clock and start counting again. Have I been doing it wrong all along? So I did 5, then 10, then 20 - total 35, and now I'm counting from zero to work up to 30. But should...

Why can't I include 'jumping rope' in my training session...

Question • 3 answers

Jumping rope isn't in the list of options giving when logging a training session. Is there a way I can add it?

Newest answer

Not many questions on TS are 'stupid', a lot of exercises have multiple names and it is sometimes hard to find. It took me a while to link 'jumping rope' and 'skipping' together, and I am British LOL

Has anybody used a swimming lap counter ring?

Question • 1 answer

i swim alot in the pool. I try and swim around 1km in each session which is 40 lengths in a 25 metre pool. Sometimes I forget how many I've done. I've recently seen these lap counter rings and I'm just wondering does it work and does it also time you?

Newest answer

Instead of counting each 25m length, I found counting every other length easier (swimming up and down is counted as 1) meaning 20 of these is 1km. I also break these 20 into 4 sets and so only count 5 at a time.

How safe is to bike commute in your city?

Question • 3 answers

Newest answer

Mostly OK, there are some really good bike trails here and there but I don't expect too much patience from the drivers at rush hours or at night.

Just post your progress each day, it's too easy. 1/14, 2/14, 3/14... go up one each day. Let us know how you're doing.

Just do it from now on. Don't worry about going back. It should only count from when you took the challenge. We'd fallen way, way behind to start with, but over the last couple of weeks, we've started closing the gap on where we should be. We're only slight...

Hey guys, are you using any calorie burning calculator?

Question • 1 answer

Newest answer

No, way too inaccurate.  It depends not only on you age, weight but also fitness level and even then individual days can be different due to exhaution, temperature etc.  The only accruate way is a watch and heart rate monitor.

Giovanni, your training will appear on some / many of the challenges, but only those that have automatic calculation will add to the totals. Otherwise, it's taking the previous persons last total and manually adding your activity as Roomi describes.
