Best pack for running

Question • 4 answers

I took a commute challenge last year and ran to work. I have a fairly decent pack for all my work clothes. I would like to know if anyone has some good lightweight suggestions as I want to go back to run commutes and will be adding bike commutes as well.

Newest answer

Thanks for the advice guys. I think the biggest issue for me is I am short torsoed so that tends to cause a bit of an issue with the pack ride up. Thanks for the link Rebecca I will check it out for sure.

Live in small apartment, have small baby so try not to make a lot of noise. Recently bought a stationary bike stand so I can start exercising again, but it makes quite a bit of noise. Are the smooth purpose designed tyres worth buying?

Newest answer

Im not sure about the noise factor that way, but I can say for the benefit of you and your child I would not try to limit regular noises like that. When my son was down for a nap I followed my moms advice, I made noise vacuumed etc, so they could sleep thro...

Err .... not sure that I feel any bad way Amanda (Just to clarify!!)  My comment was merely a prompt for everyone to try to take a little extra time to check their inputs. The way you describe is exactly what I thought I had typed

It's time we get some teams together. Let's brainstorm to keep it fair and equal. How about splitting up some of the stronger runners to get the newbie involved. Give me your feedback.

Question • 6 answers

I definitely sleep 6+ hours each night, but too much sleep makes me feel groggy!

Newest answer

It really depends on the person, but usually 6-8 hours. Personally, I think you can find out a lot about a persons motivation based on how much they sleep. If they want it bad enough, they'll give up on the snooze button and get to work.
