Shouldn't we make this challenge a little more exciting by adding distance and elevation as well?
Why not make elevation a seperaate challenge? For thos with barometric tracking on their computer it's easy, but a lot of other folks must just be tracking miles and trying to work out elevvation would be tricky. It also must be realisticly challenging. 10,000 feet is nothing, but 50,000 metres might be game on.

it is hard to challenge both distance and elevation. How would you measure it, gps? The elevation whould actually be better measured in climb rate, 10 foot incline over 1 mile (long hill) is different then 1 mile over 10 foot (Cliff).

I agree...not everyone has fancy gadgets to measure elevation...a seperate challange may be the best option...So, you going to create the challenge Katalin? :))
