I am not too sure how you would find an all purpose bench that does not have a gap. If you don't like the gap maybe you can put a rolled up towel in it while it is flat.

S K asked the question in Strength Training…
Do you guys have recommendations for an exercise bench that can be used flat or at an incline? I'm looking for one to use at home, but the ones I'm coming across are either not long enough, or they have a gap when they're laid flat because of where they fold when you adjust them to be inclined.

The Ironmaster Super Bench is an all-purpose bench without a gap. But it's not clear to me that it'll be long enough. What I want is one relevantly like it, but definitely long enough.

unfortunately a lot of the cheaper ones are pretty poor quality when compared against the equipment that gyms order, how much were you looking to spend?

The ones I use in the gym all have a gap where the hinge is placed, out of necessity. When I'm lying on them I use them the opposite way around, so the gap/hinge doesn't dig into/bug my lower back.
