If the folks in this challenge want to wait and see who all joins up and then split teams.....we can see about it. Just let me know.
Lets do it like the sports franchises. We'll get some people to volunteer as "team starters". These team starters can then go recruit 4 other people (or invite some of the people already taking the challenge) to join their team. We could use the how to thread as the teams bay. Or where we can keep a list of teams and members. If we're feeling everything is too orderly and we need some confusion, we could have some mid season transfers and the like.
No transfers Vikram......the girls showed us that confusion leads to others winning.

Okay....so here's the plan. The teams are your teams. You get to choose them, accept or decline based on what you think is important for your team as far as what team you join or don't join. So it may seem like a free-for-all, but really it's more of a use-your-own-head type of thing. Feel free to consider all invitations and situations passed your way as pertaining to what team you are in and discuss it with each other. Some may wish to split up by time zones, some by what part of the day they like to run, or various other ways to devise a plan. By Monday the 16th the teams should be finalized. That way we have a week with our teams to come up with how we want to share the running. Remember: every team that reaches the finish line "completes" the challenge...but bragging rights go to the order of arival.

Hmmmm.......man I just asked the question early on "who wants to be on my team?" and so far I've got one openning left. However, if there is a good suggestion that y'all want to go for as to how we split up into teams that would be fine with me too. (I was either picked last in school or not picked at all....I was only 83 pounds as a freshmen in High School......Mamma! Look at me NOW!!)

Agreed with the above. I'm up for different countries/time zones/etc. Who evers team I am on don't forget I am marathon training ;) Putting in 35+ miles a week now! :)
