I stayed in The Belvedere, pretty close to the the bus ride, but pretty typical for Manhatten, small and expensive. This was in '09.

I'd rather decided to take the ferry @ Whitehall, so my point is would you suggest to stay closer to Whitehall or better to stay close to the arrival?

We stayed in a Days Inn I think.. very central and near to the coach pick up. It's many moon ago 2003.
