I've been running inconsistently since January. The longest I've gone is ten minutes, but today I ran for the first time in a couple weeks and I only did 6 mins, but I got runner's high four minutes in and sprinted for the last two mins. I felt amazing afterwards! I intend on beginning this challenge next week and improving my time, but I totally think you can get some benefits from running for 5 mins. I know you get more than you would from just sitting in front of the tv.
