Laura M asked the question in Give your skin a natural boost -2 litres of water per day for a month

Warm/hot water vs. Cold water... does it really matter?

Does the temperature of the water really matter? Is one better than the other?

Interesting question.. Cold water is very refreshing, especially during summer time & I just found out that, in order to use it, your body has to use calories heat it.

Warm water helps food digestion (softens it), increase body temperature & blood flow.

Personally, I prefer room temp water.  My own opinion is that as long as you stay hydrated you'll be fine.

I prefer drinking water at room temperature too or when I'm out and about. But with it being summer now, cold water is so much more refreshing. I say, whatever tickles you fancy as long as you keep drinking water, it doesn't really matter.
