Register for a trail race of any length
Go for a run. A run in the wet. A run in the mud. A run where you know there's no avoiding getting seriously muddy. And then - make sure you run through every puddle, every bog, every bit of good clean dirt you can find! Don't forget to tell everyone ab...
If you're lucky enough to live near the coast, take advantage of the challenges it has to offer to runners. Often lots of hills and hard terrain but with a backdrop of inspiring views to push you further!

10K nightime run through woodland.
Setting a good time is fun, but it is always great to go back to the same event a year or two later and see if you can beat your previous effort. The challenge is to improve your time in 3 events that you ran either last year or the year before.
It's the middle of winter... but the morning has dawned cloudless and still... you know what that means... FROST!!! Get out there and run in the white... 10km or more... if possible post a pic of the whiteness.
