So I am a total and utter beginner here, never having tried zumba before. I have watched lots of videos on youtube though, and it looks like so much fun. I will report back after my first class on how i get on - wish me luck!

So, just returned from my first class, here: http://www.clear-wellness.com - SO MUCH FUN! totally different to any other exercise class i've done, and as @nikosruns and @lambros told me they would be, my endorphin levels were soaring, and ive been grinning since i got back. Pretty good cardio work out too.
The great music, and the mix of dance and fitness was great. Only downside was I sloped to the back, in fear of being laughed out of the place, and as a result, couldnt see the instructor so well. Next time I will be right at the front - loud and proud :)
Bring on the next class. LETS SHAKE IT LIKE SHAKIRA!!!

New to zumba? Give this a go Start the day with a Zumba routine for a week . The only rule is to have fun and sweat it out! =)
If you're enjoying your classes keep your eyes open for zumbathons! I did the first of the year on Sunday - 2 and a half hours, and have another coming up towards the end of the month. They're super good fun, usually in aid of a good cause, and are a great way to challenge yourself! I managed 5 last year, including the record attempt in Twickenham, and had sooo much fun! I even managed a 10 hour danceathon to raise money for Macmillan in October. I'm surprised that there aren't mention of them in the challenges already?

hi,everyone.new to this .i am purchasing the ZUMBA FITNESS GAME for the WII.is it as good as the actual fitness at the gym.just wondering.
I've got the wii game and 2 sets of DVDs. In my opinion, the game is fine, but the classes are better. It really depends on what you're looking for - the game only has the interface for one user at a time, which is a shame cos it'd be more fun to go head to head with people (or hip to hip!), but it is at least a bit more dynamic than a DVD that's been done a gazillion times and you do still get the chance to work up a bit of a sweat. I tend to use it more on the evenings when I think I ought to do something physical, but I'm not sure what.

My sportsclub has no Zumba license but runs other programs like Club Latin. It's almost the same and I totally love the moves as I like to dance Salsa and Merengue as well.

Hi! I just joined Tribesports. I used to be a zumba regular but started running and couldn't fit everything in. It's so much fun and I'd love to get back into it.

New member here. Just wanted to say hi and that I love Zumba. It's so fun it doesn't even feel like you are doing a workout.
New to Tribesports... I have done both Zumba classes and I have the cds.. Really enjoy both.. had stopped doing Zumba to do Turbo Jam.. now trying to work both into my schedule.
Fairly new to Tribesports and new to this Tribe, so hi everyone. I've done Zumba for a year and love it. The music really gets you going and everyone in the class has a great time.
I love Zumba, have been teaching it for nearly two years now and it is a great workout and at the end of a class you are not only sweating but very happy. Hope you are all enjoying Zumba! and have you tried Zumba Toning? it is just Wow!

I just did my first Zumba on Youtube and it was amazingly fun. I truly love to dance and since I gained so much weight I have not been out to clubs or parties. I am embarrasse. However I was very pleased to see that I still got the moves. This is going to get me back to who I was. Thank you Zumba Tribe
