When i started running in 2012 i was 97kg and believed i couldnt run i literally started running one lampost walk 2 run 1 walk to for about 1km then i slowley progressed to run 2 walk 1 and so on you dont need to try...
M J D I've stopped weighing myself which just caused such frustration for me. Now I can see the improvement in how my clothes fit. For me, it's all about the look, not the number. MJ
Shelia B Ok all you joiners lets post so positive feedback. I'm doing great with my goals And I'm so glad that I was told about tribesports a few months ago it has changed my life so much. I feel so alive and so much better with a lot energy. It has been possible with all your support and encouragements and I will keep challenging myself.
Shelia B I have lost 20 lbs so far and that's great, but I'm still along ways from my goal. So I'm staying very positive and on the task at hand. So for all of you out there don't give up keep going you can do it. And remember you have a great Tribe Family for support and encouragements.
Shelia B As I'm keeping my goal in reach. Each day I know I'm getting closer. I may not always feel the best, but I put on my big girl pants and make my self do it. I like working out I always have. With my injuries it make it more harder to do. But I can do it.
Melinda B Shelia, I agree. Keep your eyes on your goals and do not let anything stop you. I could allow work, my family to stress me or to distract me, but I have a goal in sight. You have to push yourself through that extra minute, push-up, crunch, squat, run,....in the end you will be happy with the results. You will be glad you endured.
Shelia B Ok ladies and gentlemen a little advice. When the world is throwing you curves or walls you can go around it or over it. Its just a force that's trying to stop you for reaching your goals and your dreams. Never stop looking at the stars or reaching for them.
Shelia B My new motto is when I feel my body sweating and burning it's my ( FAT crying out saying stop I don't want to go away ) So I work a lot harder to make it cry more and to go away. Don't give up keep going and don't do it for anybody but you. Only you can make you happy.
Shelia B I can understand how hard it is to get yourself on a life challenging adventure. I don;t like the word DIET. WE all say Life Changing sounds so much better. I believe if you start small you can do it. You can have the foods you love you have to learn how to eat a lot less. You can have that candy bar just not the whole bar. It's about teaching yourself and believing in yourself you can do it. Keep a journal of what you eat everyday and drink you will be surprised at what you eat and how much you drink. Cut the amount that you eat in half you will be surprised that the weight starts coming off. So don't give up.

Hi, my name is Leanne and this isn't my first try at getting healthy. I am the heaviest I have ever been right now and that is going to change. I want to finish a 5km run in under 40 minutes as for the last year or so 45 min has been my best time.
