I love weekend jogs on Clapham Common

I'm still building up to a full 30 mins of running and run-walking...anyone out there at the beginners stage that needs a partner. Or do any of the local running clubs cater for plodders like me?

I love running round Clapham Common, I find myself going round quite a lot, sometimes more than once.  Tomorrows run is 12.4m around Tooting Bec Common, Clapham Common twice and back home rounf Tooting Bec common again, and then it'll be time for...

The common is my default running route, always something going on to watch as you run round. With the number of runners there pretty much all the time, if im just walking home or to the shops they always make me feel i should go for a run, always...

More attractive women on Clapham Common (when the weather is nice), so that's better for running. Faster times too as no-one likes to see a fatty slouching.

I am new to clapham common running - I often prefer to head down to Battersea or the closer wandsworth common - often finding the roads that have to be crossed on clapham common a bit annoying, and always seen it as a bit of a party park.  However...

Hey Jen, what's the loop of Clapham Common that's 5km? All the way around each bit or just around the main part? I think I'm going to try it tonight - is anyone keen to join me?

Got up early doors and had a lovely jog around clapham common this morning - it was actually way colder than it looks! whilst the weathers nice, i'm going to try and keep this up at least a couple of times a week. I went with @ruthfenton this morn...

They're both great, but I think my heart's in Clapham! Do a loop of Clapham, Brockwell Park (in Herne Hill) and Wandsworth. You can add on gorgeous Battersea Park and it's a nice 10k or so!

You can't be far from Tooting Bec Common either - which is a really 'green' run, way from the roads. Combine 1 lap of Clapham Common and 1 lap of Tooting Bec Common and you get a good hearty 7.7 miles covered! Good lu...

too tough to call! But for me - if i want to push myself on time, i run round Clapham Commons - its a nice clean loop, and almost exactly 5km. If i want a pretty run, with a bit less structure, I go to Wandsworth Comm...

I am moving between the commons next week - but don't know which way to head for my runs!
