Parkrun is a free weekly timed 5k event which is run in local parks all around the UK for people of all ages and ability. All you have to do is go to the Parkrun website at http://www.parkrun.com/home , register and print your personal barcode, find a local Parkrun and turn up by 9am on a saturday morning and run, walk, or crawl around the 5k course. Don't forget your barcode or you get a time.

Damian B Threatening to be -1 tomorrow morning here in the UK midlands, anyone else venturing out for a park run?
Damian B If my man flu doesn't get the better of me I'll be running Park Run for the first time with my new Garmin watch, will be interesting to see if this makes a difference to my pacing of the run.

Damian B So its that time of the week again. Tomorrow will be the first park run in my town so interested to see how this goes.

Any advice for a previous half marathon runner coming back from injury? Currently running 22ish minutes on the treadmill, bit scared to push myself incase my pain comes back but keen to get back to parkrun before the year is out. Can anyone sugges...
